White Cliffs of Conoy Engagement Session | Alessandra & Eddie

Jun 17, 2022

My job gives me the opportunity to travel and explore new places and capture couples in love. Traveling has given me the chance to see places that I never even knew existed, even within my own state. Now don’t get me wrong, I have been able to see a lot of what Pennsylvania has to offer. However, when it came down to Alessandra and Eddie’s engagement session we decided to explore someplace new… or at least new to me – LOL. To learn more about this White Cliffs of Conoy engagement session, keep scrolling!

White Cliffs of Conoy Engagement Session

For Alessandra and Eddie’s engagement session, we knew we wanted something a little bit different. The White Cliffs of Conoy overlook the Susquehanna River and are truly one of a kind. The cliffs have been forming for over 100 years and are now these large white rock formations. Beautiful views? Count us in!

Upon entering the parking lot and meeting with Alessandra and Eddie, we made the 1.5-mile walk to get to the White Cliffs. Keep in mind that it was sweltering outside, so we were all gettin’ a bit sweaty. You know what they say though, the show must go on! Despite the fact that it was so hot out, Alessandra and Eddie were so kind and down for just about anything. Like I mentioned before, these cliffs are HUGE so there was a great deal of climbing to get around.

Once we started shooting, I just couldn’t stop. The way the light was peaking in through the trees and the gorgeous water views behind us, I stood there speechless. Not to mention, but Alessandra and Eddie looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Their outfits were the perfect example of what to wear to your engagement session. We spent our entire time together soaking up the sun and enjoying that insanely beautiful golden hour.

As their engagement session came to an end, we started making our way back to our cars. Luckily for us, it began to downpour – yay! In all honesty, we ended up laughing at this moment. Everyone was so hot and sweaty at this point, that the rain definitely made us feel refreshed. Thanks to waterproof protective gear for my camera, nothing was damaged. So I ran home to quickly edit these photos because as you can see, I just knew these were going to turn out amazing. I am so honored to have been there for Alessandra and Eddie and I am more excited to photograph their wedding this upcoming August at the Mallard Island Yacht Club!

Engagement Session Tip

If you’re wanting to switch up your look for your engagement photos, but don’t want to put on a different outfit, consider your hair! Alessandra was able to do this cute bun for some of her engagement photos. This gave her the chance to switch things up and add a bit of diversity to her look, without having to change.

For Alessandra and Eddie’s engagement session, my friend Josiah and I worked together which made it all the more fun. Josiah (@josiahblizzard) is actually Alessandra and Eddie’s videographer for their wedding. On top of being excited to work together for their wedding, we also were able to work together for their engagement session! While I was shooting, Josiah was making a highlight film of their engagement session. In turned out so amazing, so if you would like to check that out click here!
