Due to the chain of events that happened through 2020 (thanks worldwide pandemic), a lot of couples were forced to postpone their wedding days. It’s safe to say that a lot of people were hit hard when it came to all of the restrictions that happened. Jaclyn and David originally had their wedding scheduled for April of 2020, at a completely different wedding venue. This wedding venue had a completely different vibe and was more so inspired by ballroom elegance. Since there was so much craziness going on at the time Jaclyn and David ended up having 3 different wedding dates, moving venues AND learning that their wedding was going to be outside on short notice. Thankfully due to all of the vendors involved on their wedding day, everything came together perfectly for their Pennsylvania Wedding at Folino Estate Winery.
Folino Estate Winery
Folino Estate Winery first bought was just a 54-acre plot of land purchased by Rodolfo Folino back in 2000. The owners of the property decided on one thing. To combine their years of experience in the restaurant industry and their native Italian roots. Bringing those two elements together along with their love for making (and drinking) wine, Folino Estate Winery was born. It was the ultimate way for the Folino family to continue their legacy and bring joy to couples through Pennsylvania.
Today, Folino Estate Winery is a destination wedding venue for anyone looking for a picturesque location, amazing service and of course, handcraft wines. Upon arrival at this premiere wedding venue, you instantly feel transported to what feels like true Italy. You are truly going to have a one of a kind experience at the Folino Estate Winery, which is why SO many couples love this wedding venue. Ballrooms with 17 ft. ceilings, bronzed chandeliers and a mixture of rustic elegance, it truly is a one of a kind wedding venue here in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Wedding at Folino Estate Winery
As I mentioned above, getting to their wedding day was quite a bumpy ride. Through all of the ups and downs, the day finally came for Jaclyn and David to get married. There was an instant sigh of relief. Jaclyn and David were so eager to get married and the air was just filled with anticipation as we awaited for this special moment.
Getting Ready
I met up with Jaclyn as she and her bridesmaids were finishing getting ready. Both her and David exchanged wedding gifts, which of course led to a few tears being shed. Always bring a box of tissues people, you never know when you’ll need it! Sometimes while getting ready on the morning of your wedding, it can get overwhelming. There are so many different moving parts which can lead to a lot of stress build up which is the last thing that we want! Below are just a morning prep tips.
Morning Prep Tips
- Make sure you eat PLENTY (that includes your wedding party) – Especially if you plan on drinking, please make sure you are eating before all of the fun filled activities. That includes your wedding party too!
- Pack an Emergency Kit – Emergency kits are there for a reason… emergencies! It’s better to be prepared than to not be, so make sure you have a designated bag filled with all of the essentials. Some of those being: bobby pins, safety pins, sewing kit, hair ties, stain remover, tissues, and bandaids.
- Don’t Overschedule Yourself – The last thing you want is to feel rushed on your wedding day. Make sure that you are not having all of your appointments done all in one morning. Get your nails done prior to your wedding day and schedule that haircut in advance! This will not only save you time, but stress as well!
Using that advice, everyone was ready to get the show on the road and get these two MARRIED!
Ceremony
Since Jaclyn and David opted out of a first look, we made our way to their church ceremony. The look on David’s face as he saw Jaclyn walk down the aisle for the first time was absolutely priceless. Their ceremony was just beautiful and truly such a big moment after all of the hurdles they had to jump to get to this point.
Portraits
After all of the legalities and everything was finalized, they were officially the The Folino’s – woohoo! Once the ceremony was over, we all headed to Folino Estate Winery for their wedding portraits. The day was absolutely beautiful so we spent a good majority of time in the vineyards soaking up the rows and rows of grape trees. Jaclyn and David’s wedding theme centered around light tones and tons of greenery. This made Folino Estate Winery the perfect wedding venue to check all of the boxes.
Reception
Originally, Jaclyn and David were going to have their wedding indoors in the ballroom at Folino Estate Winery. However, on a very short notice they were told they were going to have an outdoor reception underneath a tent because of the updated restrictions. Thankfully though, this all worked out beautifully. The reception decor was out of this world beautiful and everyone had such an amazing time.
Through all of their hardships and everything that happened to get to this point, I truly am so happy for Jaclyn and David. They went through the ringer in order for this wedding to happen and although there were a few slight changes, it ended up being such a beautiful day. The night had tons of dancing and celebrating as the day finally came and went. We ended the night with a stunning firework show underneath the stars and it was the perfect ending to such a magical day.
After The Wedding Day
Since their wedding, I have become really good friends with Jaclyn and David. We share a love for french bulldogs, so that’s how I knew we had a strong bond. Since J+D have said I do, I have since photographed their maternity, newborn, and their son’s 6 month/christmas card photos, and we don’t plan to stop that trend anytime soon! 🙂
