When two people find each other, every detail of their wedding day becomes a reflection of that love. Jerri and David’s celebration at The Switch House by Cescaphe in Philadelphia was nothing short of extraordinary and an exact reflection of who they were. A timeless fall wedding at The Switch House by Cescaphe in Philadelphia unfolded like a beautifully written chapter.

The Switch House is one of my favorite Philadelphia wedding venues as a Philadelphia wedding photographer. Having photographed there for Ashley and Matt’s Philadelphia wedding, as well as Brianna and Drew’s, I was elated to be there front and center for Jerri and David.
Getting Ready at The Switch House by Cescaphe
The morning began with the soft hum of anticipation. With hair beautifully styled by Amanda D’Andrea and makeup flawlessly applied by the talented team at Mar & Co, Jerri was absolutely radiant before she even stepped into her gown. Then came the moment, slipping into her breathtaking strapless dress from the iconic Kleinfeld Bridal, a stunning design by Augusta Jones. With its elegant silhouette and timeless craftsmanship, the gown was everything: refined, romantic, and completely her. Champagne flowed, laughter filled the room, and the energy of the day slowly began to build.
First Looks with Dad & Groom
Before the ceremony, Jerri shared a private first look, first with her father, whose expression said everything words couldn’t. Then, with David, who turned around to find his person standing there, radiant and ready. These quiet, in-between moments are often the ones that carry the most weight, and for Jerri and David, they were intimate and oh so beautiful.
Pre-Ceremony Memories: The Ketubah Signing
Surrounded by their closest family and witnesses, Jerri and David took part in the ketubah signing, a meaningful Jewish tradition in which the couple signs a marriage contract before the ceremony. The intimate ritual set a sacred and intentional tone for the celebration ahead. Grounding the day in both love and heritage.
Jerri and David’s Timeless Fall Wedding at The Switch House by Cescaphe
Stepping beneath the chuppah, the ceremonial canopy central to the Jewish wedding tradition, Jerri and David made their vows in a ceremony that was both deeply rooted in meaning and filled with warmth. The chuppah, beautifully adorned and surrounded by guests who had traveled to witness this milestone, served as a symbol of the home they are building together. It was a ceremony that honored tradition while feeling entirely authentic to them.
Candlelit Dinner at The Switch House
As guests walked into the reception space, the room stopped them in their tracks. The ambiance was warm and deeply romantic with candlelit tables glowing softly beneath the venue’s dramatic architecture. Green and white florals by Beautiful Blooms cascading across every surface in full, lush arrangements. The dinner, expertly prepared and presented by Prestige Caterers, was an experience in itself. A candlelit affair that felt intimate despite the scale, where every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Guests savored a beautifully curated meal, raised their glasses, and soaked in the beauty of the evening before the real celebration was just getting started.
Then, the music turned up, and the night truly came alive. Jerri and David’s first dance melted into an evening of pure, unfiltered joy. The dance floor filled quickly and barely emptied, with guests dancing, celebrating, and reveling in the happiness of the night. It was the kind of reception that feels like a once-in-a-lifetime party.
