When cultures blend in a celebration of love, magic happens. As a Pennsylvania wedding photographer, I’ve captured countless beautiful moments, but Shivani and Griffin’s stunning Indian-American multicultural wedding at The Ryland Inn stands out as a perfect fusion of cultures and backgrounds. From the vibrant Sangeet to the drop-dead gorgeous reception, every moment was infused with joy, cultural richness, and absolute romance.
A Multi-Day Celebration at A New Jersey Wedding Venue
The privilege of documenting my first Indian-American fusion wedding was made even more special by the opportunity to capture multiple events. From the intimate rehearsal dinner to their Sangeet celebration, and finally, the wedding day itself, each moment told a unique part of Shivani and Griffin’s love story. The Ryland Inn provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding, seamlessly blending the historic charm of The Ryland Inn with modern luxuries.

Essential Tips for Choosing Your Perfect New Jersey Wedding Venue
After photographing countless weddings across New Jersey, I’ve got a pretty good grasp on what makes a venue truly exceptional. Below are just a few tips for choosing your dream New Jersey wedding venue:
Consider Your Guest Count
Before falling in love with a venue, you have to make sure it can comfortably accommodate your guest list. At The Ryland Inn you can host intimate gatherings of 50 or larger weddings of up to 300 guests.
Think About Your Wedding Style
Your venue should reflect your vision. At this New Jersey wedding venue, their versatile event site options can be transformed to fit any aesthetic, which is perfect for the creative at heart!
Location and Accessibility
When choosing your venue, you also want to take into account location and accessibility. Ideally, you want your wedding venue to be a convenient commute for most of your guests and/or with reasonable accommodations. Since The Ryland Inn is located in central New Jersey, it makes it accessible from multiple major highways and airports, easy for out-of-town guests.
Backup Plan For Inclement Weather
Since we have absolutely no control over the weather, having a venue with a backup plan for inclement weather is so important. You want to make sure that your venue offers both indoor and outdoor accommodations to be able to quickly adjust your wedding plans in case of weather issues.
Shivani and Griffin’s Indian-American Multicultural Wedding at The Ryland Inn
As a Pennsylvania wedding photographer, documenting Shivani and Griffin’s Indian-American fusion celebration was absolutely stunning. The vibrant colors, meaningful traditions, and joyous atmosphere created such an ethereal experience for the entire wedding weekend. First, starting off their rehearsal dinner at the Black Bass Hotel, where guests came with open arms in celebration of the soon-to-be newlyweds.
The next day at their Sangeet celebration, bursts of energy and color had set the perfect tone for the festivities to come. It was in The Ryland Inn’s Coach House space which blended together romance with an equestrian feel. This rustic-element of The Coach House paired perfectly with the vibrant tones of the Sangeet that I can’t get over.
Shivani and Griffin’s wedding day itself was a masterful blend of traditions, leading into a reception inside The Grand Ballroom at The Ryland Inn that celebrated both cultures through food, music, and some BOMB dance moves.
As a Pennsylvania wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless beautiful celebrations, but Shivani and Griffin’s wedding at The Ryland Inn showcased the unique beauty that emerges when cultures come together in celebration of a pure kind of love. Their wedding wasn’t just a union of two people, but a merging of traditions, families, and cultures. A day that I will truly never forget.
