Over the years I have had the honor of shooting some of the most beautiful weddings at some of Philadelphia’s finest wedding venues. While there are many that I could rave about, this one, in particular, should have an extra spotlight for today. Angela and Ryan had their gorgeous wedding day at The Lucy by Cescaphe and it was absolutely breathtaking. From the light and airy color palette and baby blue hues incorporated throughout their details and wedding party, it was the perfect way to start off a summer full of weddings. This phenomenal day at The Lucy by Cescaphe Philadelphia wedding is one for the books, and I’ll never stop resharing.
The Lucy by Cescaphe – Philadelphia Wedding Venue
The Lucy by Cescaphe is a wedding venue in Philadelphia that will always impress. Located in the heart of Center City, The Lucy embodies classic, timeless, and modern styles. With modern textures and materiality, The Lucy by Cescaphe pulls inspiration from European structures and design. Including chandeliers that illuminate the marble floors that sit right below. Ivory wall paneling and stunning accents still make the space warm and inviting. While The Lucy by Cescaphe does hold this modern and timeless style, the team over at Cescaphe ensures that you can still have your unique style and details for your big day.
The Lucy by Cescaphe offers a beautiful and more intimate ceremony space. After witnessing the ceremony and enjoying a brief cocktail hour with some of The Lucy’s finest drinks at their open bar, you’re then led to their grand ballroom. It is here at The Lucy’s grand ballroom that you have their new traditional design that includes chevron wood floors with accented carpeting. These small details, while seemingly incognito make the biggest of differences. Finding your dream wedding venue can be one of the hardest decisions you have to make while wedding planning. Philadelphia Wedding at The Lucy by Cescaphe
It was a shining, warm, and bright summer day celebrating with Angela and Ryan. From the moment that I spoke to Angela and Ryan and began discussing the vision for their wedding day, I knew it would embody beauty and elegance. Boy, was I right. The morning was spent getting ready with Angela and her bridesmaids. While SCP’s second photographer headed to be with Ryan and his groomsmen. Since Angela and Ryan chose to forego a first look, it was time to head to the ceremony. Thanks to the Cescaphe Trolley, transportation from location to location was an absolute breeze! Angela and Ryan exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones in a beautiful and intimate church ceremony in their hometown in New Jersey.
Portraits at The Merchant Exchange Building
After the ceremony, we carved out enough time for wedding portraits. Luckily with some thorough planning, we were able to make it to one of Philadelphia’s prime wedding portrait locations. The Merchant Exchange Building is a popular photo-location spot in Philadelphia. Not only for its gorgeous architecture but also for its ease of access to Downtown Philly. The newlyweds, their wedding party and I headed to The Merchant Exchange Building to take some portraits and these I am quite obsessed with. Let me know what you think!
The Grand Ballroom Reception at The Lucy by Cescaphe
What’s that saying… time flies when you’re having fun? Frankly, I say that applies here. Before we knew it, we were heading back on the Cescaphe Trolley heading to The Lucy to enjoy the reminiscent cocktail hour before the reception. One of the grandest features of The Lucy space is the grand ballroom that they open for receptions. It’s gorgeously decorated and has stunning features and lighting that make the space feel warm, cozy, and romantic. It was a night filled with so much celebration for Angela and Ryan. From flower petals being thrown in the air, speeches that make your cheeks hurt, and a killer dance floor, it was utter perfection.
I don’t know how many times I can say it, but congratulations to Angela and Ryan. While their wedding may not have been “yesterday”, I still feel the after-effects of celebrating their love.
