There is a reason that the Fall time is the most sought-after season to get married. It’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. The leaves begin changing and you get the absolute prettiest scenery. It’s also the perfect excuse to cuddle up by a fire and drink tea or cocoa. Fall weddings also make for some of the most beautiful wedding photos! On Reina and Dom’s wedding day, the Fall vibes were at an all-time peak. Trees were filled with burnt oranges and reds that popped so beautifully. Even the light peaking in from behind the clouds was incredible. Their New Jersey lakefront wedding proves why Fall is the perfect season to get married.

New Jersey Lakefront Wedding
Reina and Dom are the kind of couple that really proves that true love exists. Their love for one another is captivating. Throughout their entire wedding day, from start to finish, you could tell how much love these two had for each other.
Since their wedding was peak Fall season, the color palette they had chosen for their wedding were mauves, greys, and creams. Also incorporating some greenery to mesh with the autumnal colors added for a great touch in their color palette as well! We spent the morning drinking some champagne with Reina and her bridesmaids before slipping into their official wedding attire. Reina also chose at this time to do a first look with her bridesmaids. If you know me, you know I am all for first looks. Check out more about first looks here.
Church Wedding Ceremony
Reina and Dom chose to not have a first look. Which meant the first time they were going to see each other was at the altar. We made our way to the church where their closest friends and family gathered to watch these two tie the knot. In a beautifully built church and a traditional ceremony, these two exchanged vows and became Mr. and Mrs.
Tip: Keep in mind that especially for church ceremonies there may be some photography restrictions. Depending on the church and its rules, it’s important that we know about these rules and restrictions prior to the wedding day so we can plan accordingly!
After the ceremony was over, Reina and Dom had a grand exit… with a twist. Instead of the traditional rice, confetti, or flower petals, their guests blew bubbles. It is a much easier and safer alternative that is also not harmful to the Earth, which is a bonus! Making sure to enjoy a glass of celebratory champagne by their luxurious rental car was an absolute must as well.
Portraits & Reception
Upon leaving the church, we made our way to their venue. Of course, we were so lucky to have such amazing weather and light on this day which I could not have been more excited about. We were able to get some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds by Farrington Lake and all of the beautiful fall foliage. Can we also take a moment to appreciate some of these proud veil shots we were able to capture? They were everything.
As I mentioned above, one of the great things about the Estate at Farrington Lake is the gorgeous ballroom for receptions. Beautifully decorated with Reina and Dom’s color palette and tons of florals, this ballroom was absolutely to die for. Reina and Dom enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife at center stage with a fog machine. This definitely added to the very elegant and timeless nature of their wedding theme which I loved. Celebrating with their loved ones, Reina and Dom took this next step in their journey together and I couldn’t have been more honored to document it all.
Cheers to the Abramo’s!
