Bear Brook Valley has a stunning, light-filled bridal suite for the girls to get ready in with plenty of space for hair and makeup – it’s a New Jersey Wedding Photographer’s dream. While Lauren and all of her girls are being pampered by their wonderful hair and makeup team, I begin to photograph all of Lauren’s details pieces. She had so many incredible details, I could have photographed that alone all day! I especially loved her textured veil and their custom-made crest… And how could I forget the shoes?! Those Kate Spade shoes were to die for – the perfect mauve to match her wedding colors with amazing pearl and rhinestone detail! Just take a look for yourself…

The First-Look
Lauren and Patrick were looking amazing and it was time to see each other for the first time that day! They are such a fun-loving couple, it was a blast spending time with just the two of them before we really started the day. These two keep me laughing, ALWAYS! They’re the kind of people you want to surround yourself with and their friends and family were exactly what I would expect – full of life and so incredibly happy to be standing by them.
Lauren’s sleek and modern gown was perfect for her! I loved that the texture and detail came in through her cathedral length veil. I think the thing I loved most about this entire wedding day (besides the people) is the color palette. Although it is so simple and romantic, I do not see it often. I loved the mauves and muted tones mixed with the blush pink.
The Ceremony
The ceremony is also unique, taking place right after the sun has gone down. It is nothing short of romantic and perfect for this couple. The arch at Bear Brook Valley is fully adorned with greenery by From Peonies to Paint Chips and everyone is ogling over it. It is undone perfection! They share a quick and to the point ceremony and inside we go to get the party started!
The Reception
I adore the look of long farm tables at wedding receptions. Lined with greenery and cross back chairs, the room is filled with light and warmth, and soon, with family and friends. Lauren + Patrick’s bunch sure know how to party. With Brian Kirk and the Jirks, everyone was on the dance floor!
