When I say I am absolutely and completely in love with Ashley and Tim’s engagement photos on the beach, I am not exaggerating! Every element of this shoot absolutely took my breath away! Ashley’s dress? Heart eyes! The sun setting over the Cape May beach? Just too good to be true! I’m so excited to show this session off – maybe excited doesn’t even cover it! These two were absolute troopers as the winds and salty waves were fairly intense. However, that didn’t stop Ashley and Tim from splashing around in the waves!

Ashley and Tim’s parents actually have a house in Cape May, so it was only fitting to do their engagement photos on the beach! Their attachment to the place was why these portraits came together on the beach – I don’t think these two could stay away from the water too long! I could tell the way they jumped into the waves that they totally belonged near the sun and the surf. Once again, the winds were really intense! But these two didn’t mind getting some salt in their eyes in order to capture the perfect shots. Ashley’s dress was too perfect for this lovely beach engagement shoot – I loved the scalloped edges on the top as well as the delicate slits in the skirt.

Ashley and Kim will be married next July at the Talamore Country Club. They are both absolute summer souls. I could not imagine a more perfect time of year for them to be wed!
