This Stroudsmoor Country Inn Ridgecrest wedding took place on a slightly rainy day in the beginning of May. I think the only time it did not rain all day was for their outdoor ceremony and portraits! We really lucked out and it made for some really romantic and rustic portraits. The views up at Ridgecrest are an absolutely vision. Some of my favorite portraits are overlooking that signature view. This venue makes for such an elegant mountain feel.
Michelle and Tim had the most gorgeous day! Starting off with their adorable first look at another little overlook at Stroudsmoor. These two had no problem cuddling and losing on each other (especially since it was a tad chilly outside). This wedding had so many gorgeous details everywhere you looked. The bride does gorgeous hand lettering, which you will see a lot of – everything from signs to place cards. Some of my favorites were the hand lettered mirror to welcome guests and the hand picked stones that acted as place cards for the reception. The couple also had really creative ideas for their guest book. Their gorgeous white and blush flowers with accents of gold were the perfect touch. I am such a sucker for silver dollar eucalyptus and light and airy details!
The reception was when the party really got started! There was a lot of dancing, laughing, and joking, but also tears and precious moments. I think the entire room was a little misty eyed when one of the best men called in from serving time over seas to show the couple some love since he wasn’t able to attend the wedding in person last minute.
