This rainy day engagement session at Fox Hill Farm was absolutely one for the books. I have to applaud Lauren and Michael for being down for absolutely anything during their engagement shoot! I always feel bad when a session gets rained out, but Lauren and Michael were more than willing to try something new and play around in the rain! We had to make a quick pit-stop at Walmart for some rain gear, but I was totally on board with exploring Fox Hill Farm during the showers! Fox Hill Farm ended up being such a beautiful location for this shoot. I totally loved the rustic mix between old greenhouses and sprawling fields. We had plenty to explore, and plenty of puddles to jump around in!

Lauren and Michael will actually be married at Fox Hill Farm this October! We took a trip up to the Poconos so they could show me around the property! Again, it’s hard not to be bummed when we don’t end up with a clear sky and golden light – but I totally adore these images. And I adored how willing Lauren and Michael were to have fun and get wet! Even with Lauren’s sweet, white, tulle skirt, she bravely donned those rain boots and jumped right into those puddles! Lauren and Michael were so happy during the entirety of this session. I just can’t wait to see them married at Fox Hill Farm in October! They’re the sweetest bride and groom to be! I’m so happy with the results of this shoot, too. It always means a lot when a couple is willing to go out of the typical comfort zone for some unique photos!

The variety at Fox Hill Farm made for an excellent shoot as well. We had well-trodden paths to explore, along with dewy green fields and an adorable dock right on the water. The clear umbrella was such a sweet detail to add to an already adorable engagement session. Not to mention, I swear everyone time Michael and Lauren’s eyes’ met, I saw real heart eyes! I could just tell these two are more than ready for their October wedding to roll around. Fox Hill Farm is going to make for a perfect autumn wedding!
