William Penn Inn Christmas Wedding | Gwynedd, Pa | Sierra + Jordan

Jan 4, 2018

Sierra and Jordan recently shared their special day at this William Penn Inn Christmas Wedding. I’ve found that winter weddings can be some of the most beautiful, charming events; Sierra and Jordan’s own celebration was absolutely no exception! There was simply so much to adore about this special day. The fine details – always a favorite of mine – were simply stunning. I loved the simple calligraphy, which was done by Shirlee Dibacco; talk about romantic! I was also charmed by the simple, yet sublime, color scheme of the William Penn Inn Christmas wedding. The deep maroon fit both romance and the Christmas season, and nothing can beat charming creams and whites! The bridal bouquet was done by The William Penn Inn Flower Shop, and the colors were just heavenly. Sierra looked luminous as she prepared for her big day. The beading on her dress, from Carlisle’s Bridal Pittsburgh, and the sparkle on her shoes went beyond perfect! Her bridal party was overjoyed when they saw the completed look; such a special moment between a bride and her closest friends!

Each and every groomsmen was dressed to nines for the big day! Jordan looked dashing in his suit, from the Men’s Warehouse. As the day sped by, I learned more about Sierra and Jordan from their loving friends. These two met while they were both still in school! After growing up in the same hometown, and sharing many mutual friends, these two were simply meant to be. They now live together in Pittsburgh; if these photos are any proof, this couple could simply not be happier!

Sierra and Jordan had the most adorable first look. I cannot get over the bliss on Jordan’s face when he saw his bride for the first time. The church was grandiose, and the Christmas decorations fit into the wedding perfectly. Walking around the grounds with Sierra and Jordan was magnificent, and there was plenty for the three of us to explore around the church. Sierra looked undeniably radiant, and Jordan couldn’t keep his eyes off of her! The two looked positively chic as the big event drew nearer and nearer!

Assembling the bridal party and groomsmen together before the reception was a lot of fun! There was nothing but love radiating off of Sierra and Jordan’s closest friends. I loved the shade of maroon used for the bridesmaids’ dressed, which were from Azazie. Everyone was so excited from the nearly-wed couple, and I just love how all of these shots turned out. I especially loved the miniature bridal bouquets – the color scheme was remarkable and sweet! The love felt just photographing this tight-knit group can not be understated.

Finally, the ceremony arrived. The church was just fabulous. Seeing a couple come together in marriage is such a magical moment! The room was fit to burst with all the love inside of it! Once the ceremony drew to a close, I got a look around the reception before it was filled with guests. Once again, I was just awestruck by all the little details, especially how wonderfully they fit with the color scheme. From dazzling golds to warm, romantic maroons, this wedding was completely exquisite. The cake, done by the William Penn Inn Bakery, was gorgeous, and matched the snowy, floral displays that adorned each table.

Soon enough, it was time for the reception to begin. From the couple’s first dance, to sweet, glowing toasts, the room was overflowing with adoration for the newly wedded couple. I promise you, I am not exaggerating when I say this – every single guest ended up on the dance floor! The room was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and excited chatter; happiness blossomed from every corner of the room! Sierra and Jordan joined me outside for a few more portraits. The William Penn Inn’s exterior was as lustrous as its inside, and string lights were the perfect backdrop for the romantic photos.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about Sierra and Jordan’s special day! This William Penn Inn Christmas wedding was undoubtably one for the books.
