Summer Wedding at the William Penn Inn | Sarah Canning Photography

As a photographer, I think the wedding is the penultimate event in a couples life. Surely, you agree – but as the woman behind the camera, there is just something so magical about seeing love come to life! Kaitlin and Ryan had such an enchanting big day. This summer wedding at the William Penn Inn was decadent and such a blast to shoot! Furthermore, this wasn’t my first time meeting the lovely couple! I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot this couples’ engagement session at Peddler’s Village! While their engagement session was bright and exuberant, I loved the sweet simplicity of this wedding.

Firstly, The William Penn Inn is such a lovely venue. The ornate backgrounds and luscious greenery make for perfect backdrops. Rather, this day wasn’t just about location, but the lovely couple! I’m still so in love with Kaitlin’s off the shoulder gown. It had the classic romantic feel, with a touch of fun! Ryan was a true sweetheart, and I could feel the love in the photos I took during the ceremony. In addition, though our venue was outside, the light cooperated beautiful. I’m so glad the sun was in attendance!

After the ceremony wrapped up, I shot some photos of the bridal party and the groomsmen. This was such a sweet bunch of people! I love the soft colors of the petite bridal party – what a lovely shade of blue! We had such a blast taking pictures as a group. Even though the flowering greens in the background make for a lovely photo, I think the newly wedded couple was glowing!

Consequently, the reception began, I captured the cutting of the cake and lots of dances! The father daughter dance had everyone in the room tearing up. There were some quite memorable toasts as well! All in all, you could truly feel the love in the room. In addition, I love the photos I took of the dance floor. While it’s not always easy to capture movements inside, this lovely venue was bright and playful! In conclusion, there was not a dull moment during this enchanting event!
